How to Reset Your Eptusmey Frame

If your Eptusmey digital photo frame is experiencing issues such as freezing, slow performance, Wi-Fi connection problems, or app syncing errors, performing a reset may help restore normal operation.

Before You Reset

Before resetting your digital frame, please note:

• A factory reset will erase your device settings and paired account information.

• Photos stored on external USB drives or SD cards will not be affected.

• If possible, back up any important photos or videos stored in the frame's internal memory.

Method 1: Restart Your Digital Frame

For minor issues, try restarting the frame first.

1. Press and hold the Power button.

2. Select Reboot and then click "OK".

3. Wait for the frame to reboot.

If the problem persists, proceed with a factory reset.

Method 2: Factory Reset

1. Open Settings on your digital frame.

2. Scroll to Backup and Restore.

3. Tap Reset frame and choose Factory reset.
   

4. Wait several minutes while the frame restores its default settings.

After the reset is complete, the frame will restart automatically.

Alternative Reset Method (Hardware Reset)

If your digital frame is unresponsive or you cannot access the Settings menu, you can perform a hardware reset using the reset pinhole on the back of the frame.

Steps

1. Locate the headphone jack on the back of the frame.
3. Gently insert the paperclip or toothpick into the headphone jack and press second.
4. After the frame is turned off, press and hold the Power button until the frame turns on.
5. Release both buttons once the startup screen appears.
6. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up your frame again if required.

Note: Do not use excessive force when inserting the paperclip or toothpick into the headphone jack. Press gently to avoid damaging the reset button.

Set Up Your Frame Again

Once the reset is finished:

1. Connect the frame to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.

2. Follow the on-screen setup instructions.

3. Pair your frame with the Frameo app.

4. Invite family members if needed.

5. Start sending photos and videos again.

When Should You Reset Your Frame?

A factory reset may help if:

• The frame won't connect to Wi-Fi.

• The touchscreen is unresponsive.

• The frame freezes or keeps restarting.

• The Frameo app cannot pair with the frame.

• Photos are not syncing correctly after other troubleshooting steps.
